This one is pretty simple, if you can prove you're better than other people then you will gain respect. However, if you can prove to continually become better than you were then you will transform into a wonder in their eyes.
They say you either get better or you get worse with each passing day, so in order to Carpe Vita... you must improve with each passing day.
