Personality & Pleasantries
Daily interactions carry weight to them. They push and pull on our moods and outlook as the day progresses. It's comparable to a ship moving down a river; there's the wind and the current and the crew and the sun and the tide, all of these influence the direction of this dingy.
Pleasantries are defined as inconsequential remarks made as part of polite conversation.
They are not truly without consequence. Your polite conversation, no matter how small the talk, so long as you a genuine shall have has a positive effect. It will benefit your relationship with that person, no matter the time it will last or its status.

The Customer is a positive influence and has a greater effect than anyone may realize.
I believe in persistent pleasantries. It makes your own day much more tolerable and improves your own perspective on the day. You'll be surprised on how many more people are willing to just be around you if you're a pleasant conversationalist.
Possess a positive personality. Provide pleasantries to engage with people.
